Is anybody there?
As a psychic I often wonder why, on these TV programmes, that they tell the person they wish to address about an object; “do you remember that old washing machine?” They say it is to help make contact with them and the spirit who is connecting to them, and through this object they identify with a particular person in the audience who they are wishing to speak to.
As a medium, I have lived many of these experiences but, once the contact is made, I go on to talk about more concerning things like, e.g. ‘don’t worry about the job, it will work out because your uncle Jim says so’. I even tell them what to do in the next few weeks, describing who they must avoid or what they must do to achieve their goals; a good psychic can describe this in very fine detail and it becomes very rewarding for all who need this information.
‘This is the true work of a psychic’ and there are many that can do it.
Then I ask the person if they would like to ask a question of uncle Jim, and this conversation is what I feel being psychic is all about; asking questions from these spirits that matter to the person and not, ‘do you remember this old hat?’; or, ‘it is time to paint the bathroom a different colour’. Of course this comes up but it is not the most important things in the person’s life, ‘it’s small talk and can be dropped very quickly in the conversation.
I am being a bit hard, as I know these psychics are very good at what they do, but I would hope that more information could be given, as it is at hand, and all they need to do is ask the correct questions and they will be answered. ‘If they do not know this then they have not found their true ability’.
I remember once having a very good Medium connection and I was telling this lady so many things that it was like being on the phone talking to the sprit; She would ask me questions and I would reply, if the answer was not too clear I would ask it again.
She asked so many questions of the person in the spirit life that I had to stop her and say; “I only said we have a good connection like a phone line; I did not mean it was a physical one”. We both laughed and ended the conversation.
The spirits in the after life were once the same as us ‘human beings’, so they speak the same in the after life as they did when on earth; ‘so ask them and they will reply’.
I personally believe that once we pass over we are no longer in body form as the air would not hold the millions that have gone before us. To me these spirits have become just the soul which a psychic picks up, and it is only a particle; so fine it’s like a particle of dust.
This particle comes to the psychic in the form of showing us a projection of what they wish us to see; it is like looking at a small cinema screen or think of it as a hologram and us viewing that picture of them in a time of their own choosing, ‘not always at the time of their passing’ perhaps it was where they were at their happiest in their life, e. g. 20’s 40’s or 80’s.
So we may see them at twenty and they may look different from the time they passed from this life; this makes it hard for the person having the reading to identify with, as the face we are seeing ‘in the psychic’s vision’ is not the one they remember; ‘at first’
However, the words they speak acknowledge them as Uncle Jim and therefore the person recognises them. I hope this theory, and my own experience, will allow those who are seeking help from the ‘after life beings’ to be more at ease knowing that they can ask questions freely.
The trick is to find a good psychic and not just a person who can make contact and not just one that will give you a lot of unworthy knowledge.
